The guys and gals of Greenacres worked incredibly hard over the weekend to deliver another excellent Fly In. Two comments that made me feel even more proud of them... Pilot: "Thanks for having me. The BMFA should come to your shows as an example of how to run one..." Walsall Council Inspector: "Congratulations on a very well run event!" My deep thanks to all the Greenacres members, friends and family, and of course, all the visiting pilots for making this another excellent Greenacres event... I'm not much of a socialising person but I really enjoy the natter and banter that goes with the Greenacres fly ins. Weather was poor but that didn't really matter. I still enjoyed it. Quite an experience being sat between young Hopper and Fenton whilst they got Pie Faced,! wish I'd of had my camera to hand Despite the weather on the Saturday morning I was constantly flying the whole weekend , that is the beauty of autogyros. There were some excellent models, I was impressed by an orange Ballerina that handled the wind really well, think it may of had a diesel engine fitted by the sound of it.
