cymaz
Off to paint today. I’ve not posted much as there is not much to see. We’ve used flat stainless steel rigging wire and bolt through clevises. The thread ends silver soldered onto the wire. This has taken nearly 3 days over various weekends and afternoons. All will be revealed soon... I spent 2 1/2 hrs yesterday getting all the surfaces level and dialled in to the Tx . There is twice aileron differential. The suggestions of throws are all done. It’s going to have 2k NATO Matt green and Matt sand. Edited By cymaz on 04/09/2020 08:00:

J D 8
Nice looking louvers.
cymaz
Brian and I had a discussion about those. Do we leave them that way to push/ scoop air into the engine bay and hot escapes out of the top near the exhaust? Or do we have them turned around so as they create a drawing effect, pulling air in from the front and out the louvers? Any thoughts and options
J D 8
Looks like plenty of air inlet area at the front, so I would have the louvers facing the the other way to pull air out and I think they would look better that way. However as they look to be screw on items you could give them a go both ways. Cheers.
cymaz
I’ve got them rewards at the moment
Cliff 1959
I would put them facing forwards to get the air in fast.
Eric Robson
I was told the outlet for the air should be larger than the intake, looking at the intakes at the front and the small outlet on the top I would turn them round to extract the hot air.
