plastic sheet to cover plan?

SLEC sell (or did?) Plan Protector - Pack of large sheets last an age.

Before the current situation, Waitrose 'vegetable/fruit' bags were a great free source after their content had been removed! (The plastic has a 'greasy' feel to it and repels most if not all adhesives). Film backing was never fully successful for me, ended up picking bits of plastic off anywhere glue found a way out.

Solarfilm gone?

Strange the web site was working a few days ago, placed and order Phoned and added some solartrim and it turned up a couple of days later. Great service in my book, only problem is if they are out of stock..they are out of stock, but at least you know where you stand. wink

Not too sure you will find polythene dust sheets satisfactory Martin as some glues stick to it, - but it will protect your workbench. smiley Very useful for decorating too, but better not let the wife see or she may get ideas!

I haven't bought from this source but 20m for £6.10 seems pretty good value to me for cellophane..

Heavy duty clear polythene rubble sacks (non-woven type). Cut off the welded seam, slit one side and you have a large sheet which 'drapes' well over the plan and is perfectly transparent when pinned down. Haven't yet found anything to stick to it. Flex it when you've finished and cyano, PVA, epoxy, dope - all just pop off.
