peter harvey 1 Posted August 26, 2020 Share Posted August 26, 2020 as Richard says Andrew (Mr rc sound) is a great bloke, I have one of his systems and after removing it from a model, I set it up on a bench to try something out. The result was that the set up didnt work, after a few emails back and forwards to Andrew we worked out why, The model that it had been in had a flight battery in and as usual I switched this on before connecting the main battery, the set up on the bench I just plugged in the lipo which also fed the sound system, as the receiver takes a few seconds to initiate as does the esc the sound system initiated straight away, with a result that it could not find the start up position for the motor and as a consequence initiation failed. This was simply fixed by a switch in the feed to the sound board to make sure that lipo connected first the sound system. Sounds simple and obvious now but it took a lot of head scratching to sort.
