How cold is in sunny East Yorkshire ??

Yes modern cars that have BMS system can be a problem, the engineers decided to save load on the engine from the Alternator they would reduce the charge on a new battery. But as the battery ages it would ramp up depending a complex set of condition. But if a new battery is fitted and you do not reset the BMS system it can overcharge a new battery, because it does not know you have fitted a new battery. Some of the German cars have coding on new batteries and the BMS/ ECU must be told the necessary parameter. Bottom line on some cars fitting a new battery and not have the car coded to suit can damage the new battery.

Who is legally responsible in a model flying club ?
JOHN MOSLEY 2 replied to Rocker's topic in Incident Reports
Having lived with a farmer (my father) for 25 years , the reason they can be so variable is the weather, price of produce etc. , and often working on there own a lot. Glad I went into engineering , it took the Weather element out the equation. Don't forget suicide in the farming community is high, in the circle of my fathers contacts two committed suicide. When they want to talk, spend time listening and express sympathy, is the best policy. -

We got snow one year on one of the MAP holidays at Primrose Valley in May, we spent a lot of time watching RC cars Carpet racing in the Ballroom. There used to be a load come from London Thames Mead club I think, we had two power sites. -

The gear channel on Spektrum is used to alter the safe modes Gear at 100% should be stability. 150% is full Safe, read the manual and look at channel monitor to see what you are doing.

Your firmware is well out of date, dont try wfi, down load directly to pc, it will appear in downloads folder. Make sure file is called SPMTX.SAX , if it has a number in bracket use rename it. Copy to your micro sd file with only that file on it with transmitter off. Then switch on an wait be patient it takes a while. Current firmware is 3.12A

Delete the unusable model, then run model validate all models in Model Utilities, this is important. If any other models memory are shown as damaged delete them also.

Enforcement of model flying regulations

To be fair in Winter the angle of the sun has a large effect on the visibility of any model, to me its a lot harder to see the model. -
Yes my Conquest did that while I was practicing for a loop roll competition, the wire used was very poor quality and rigid, problem was it went to into full roll mode.

Have you changed carb diaphragm, they get hard because of the modern petrol. -

200 Frame losses receiver problem ?
JOHN MOSLEY 2 replied to Rocker's topic in General Electric Flight Chat
I know, but on all my planes that I value, I fit telemetry, I have no more that 10 per flight and mostly less. The worst I have had is 100 in a flight and I move antenna and or fit a extra satellite.
