Steve T
Oh no! This will never fly, how dare I put this on here....repaired with balsa though so will that make it OK? I did make it out of an old chest of drawers, I lived overseas for 35 years, hence a long time out of aeromodelling!

Andrew Price 2
Still all looks the part Ken! Very powerful, very impressive even now. Weekends and holidays I used to go to a lot of trouble to go to and watch the troughs near Carpenters Park and see the scoops in action. Quite a sight. Danny Fenton
Great shot Matt, I am envious! getting to fly in formation with a Spitty Seeing your pic of the Green Arrow Ken reminded me of this project to design and operate a steam engine on todays network, Tornado. This will consume around 40 - 45 gallons of water per mile. Cheers Danny

Electriflier
Nice picture Danny. Here's one I took a couple of weeks ago of a little chaffinch that visited our garden table.
Danny Fenton
Lovely shot Not tried garden wildlife much, but there is a robin flitting around the garden at the mo, and the sun is out, might get the camera out during lunch Cheers Danny
Peter Miller
This photo was taken from my bedroom window. IT shows an Apache hovering over our flying field 1 mile 200 yards from my house. The camera was a Fujifilm HS10 with the 24 to 720 mm lens. The picture has NOT been cropped this is as it came out of the camera. I can keep a close eye on our field!!! Danny Fenton
Well had a quick go in the garden whilst munching a sarnie, wanted to play with the 400m lens image stabilisation. Must confess I couldn't see much difference. The main problem was trying to shoot 400mm hand held! Anyway came out better than I thought, but will try with a tripod if the bird comes back..... I want to say a Sparrow chick, but can't really tell you what it is as it has no rivets
Danny Fenton
Well the sun went in so not really a fair test..... But at least the scruffy robin appeared Anyway enough of this, I think I will leave the Nature shots to Roy I will stick to pics of rivets in close formation Cheers Danny
Electriflier
Danny, I think your impromptu shots of the birds are great especially if you're shooting hand-held with the 400mm! (although the Robin looks like he's been around the block once or twice bless him). Image stabilization is a great help but the lenses are not exactly lightweight are they? Mine was set up on the tripod for the bird photo's. And yes, we too had a visit from the little Robin. As for the 'rivets in close formation' - you're the man! - Good Pic!
