Martyn K
Note from BEB: This thread is for nominations of models only - not for discussion or justification, that stuff can go here in the discussion thread! So entries here should be just the model name and manufacturer/designer etc. Now back to Martyn: My preference woulod be a Phil Kraft flea-lfi - and if selected, I'll write up the electric conversion Edited By Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator on 17/09/2013 23:17:

Phil 9
what about a classic like the astro hog or maybe a super sportster plans are available in many sizes to suit your taste and preferred power plant A model that could be built in a variety of sizes might be a good idea
Concorde Speedbird
Pegasus Jester, superb in every respect. Why two threads? Or racers- see other thread. CS
David Davis
If you want a small, cheap, and easy to build model from a plan how about Eric Clutton's "Sharkface" (RC/887) or the very similar but larger Chris Foss "Sawdust" ( RC/985) which are 22 inches and 35 inches in the wingspan respectively (56cms and 89cms.) These will fly on any small i/c engine from a Mills 75 upwards and a small 3S LiPo set up would also suit either of them. They were originally designed as single channel models but it would be easy to fit an elevator.

TheFlyingCrust
Something that would fit the "Scout" type so Dawn Flyer or any one from the Flair Scout range. Ian Edited By Rentman on 17/09/2013 22:28:
Pete B
I think some of you are missing the point of this thread, guys. Chat about the type of model over on the discussion thread - when you've got a specific model/plan in mind, then you should post the name here. I thank you.... Andrew767
Well, as it will be the 75th anniversay of Alex Henshaws London,Capetown,London record attempt, what about Brian Peckhams Chorus Gull?...about time there was a laser cut kit. Glenn Stratton
I would like to nominate Dennis Bryant's Dactyl, 1*(RM48, not sure new ref.) 61"span, .29-.61 pusher & 3 channel. Economic on materials and 'you could almost train on it! '. Maybe convert it to leccy? More ambitious might like to fit retracs (beef up appropriate areas!) Greybeard
Something that fits the criterion as it will suit a wide range of abilities both flying and building would be the D.B. Sport and Scale Corben Baby Ace.
Mark Stringer
Based on the fun usually gets going at Greenacres for the mass build I thought it should be a Revolver AutoGyro ... but then Paul Ellis 3 said Jabberwock so i have to go with that - best get some kits back in production!!! Mark Stringer
One other thought - put in the discussion thread but forgot to put it on here: The "Rat Out of Hell" - my design, my kit (could put back into production?) or maybe I could do a plan? 64" span, 36" long, cheap to build, light, power it with anything! Devcon1
Peter Russells's STOL MK I or MK II, he died this year so would be a fitting tribute to a true modeller and contributor to the modelling world.
