Colin Hooper
My sugestion for a fairly simple build is the Piwakawaka. I know from experience that they fly really well and are not phased by windy weather. A slightly more challenging build than Tucano but still very quick to make. Caveman
Just had a good thought (?) - what about Alex Whittaker's Super Slinky? It's a decent size (38" wingsplan), built-up wing, suitable for IC or electric and a relatively simple build. Also, plan and wood pack(s) are available from MyHobbyStore. Although Alex designed it with lots of rubber bands in evidence it could be easily adapted as required by more experienced builders. Another plus point, the man himself has a presence on the forum and in the magazine, and, presumably, would be available to answer queries and make suggestions, very much in the way Nigel did last year.
