John Robertson 3
I know what you mean. I have a little trouble that way myself. However. My thumbs are beginning to recover the muscle memory and I managed to get it up last week. I had to steel my nerves and stiffen my backbone too, but eventually it all came together. A bit like riding a bike, I suppose. Now that the Radian has had its maiden, time to think about painting it, perhaps.

Don Fry
I'm in the UK for Christmas, at sister's. Culinary wasteland, brought one of my knives over so I can cut. And sister and SHMBO have been cackling since arrival. And I'm bored. And changed passwords on this site. The Christmas cake wot I made. Glyn44
All best wishes from me, and thanks to all for the help you have freely given. We’ve learnt our lesson after many years, we go out to nice restaurant for Christmas lunch. Heaven. Happy flying for 2018 Glyn.
John Privett
Best wishes from me to everyone here! Kiwi - my sister has lived in Perth, Australia for the past 6 or 7 years and still can't get used to putting up the lights and tree when the thermometer is reading in the 30's Celcius, rather than the 30's Fahrenheit! I guess if it's what you've always known then it doesn't seem odd... I'm off to Vancouver tomorrow to have Christmas evening Canadian-style! KiwiKid
Haha yes - I have always been amused by how we try and make things look wintery to get in the Xmas spirit when it's 30 degrees out. It is handy having the summer hols over the Xmas/New Year period and there are other advantages
