paul devereux
Several forecasts say the unusually windy weather will end on Sunday. I managed one short flight Tuesday morning at 6am but that is all. I know it is good discipline to fly in wind but I don't find it pleasurable- for one thing, if the wind is coming from the sun I have to fly downwind all the time and I never like that. Is that a solar wind? 😜
J D 8
Well the whole of June went by with many windy days and few where it was comfortable with the right model. A week into July and its blowing gale force this evening!!!
Colin Carpenter
Yesterday I totalled number of day’s flying this year from my data app ! Normally 2-3 days a week , early morning . A grand total of 11 - yes eleven. We do have a patch problem but is this total indicative of global warming. Blowing a gale as I type , but sunny ! 😱😱😱😱Anyone wanna buy a shed full of ✈️✈️??😂😂😂Colin
John Lee
Must try harder! 😀 I'm based on the Wirral in the North West and looking at my transmitter logs I flew on 14 days in June.
Adrian Smith 1
I am now flying regularly in 10mph+ winds these days compared to a year or two ago. Having got used to it conditions can be quite enjoyable! 🌬️

Brian Cooper
We have been trying to clock up some miles for the latest BMFA Round the World Challenge but every day so far has been too grim. Wind (a lot of wind), or rain, or both. The forecast says it won't improve anytime soon. It's a typical British summer. . . Lol.

Tom Flynn 1
I live in Weston S Mare, our field is just by the sea. At home it’s a still and lovely day. Some days When you arrive at the field you can just about stand up. over the years I have lost count of the amount of days I leave home full of Good intentions, but finish up getting out of the car, have a walk round and then returning home. Thinking oh well always tomorrow. Edited July 6, 2023 by Tom Flynn
