Andy Stephenson
I scan this site from time to time and wonder if anything actually sells... https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=aplaneoldebargain&store_cat=0&store_name=aplaneoldebargain&_oac=1 What were your experiences if you did buy something. leccyflyer
I'd happily buy from them, as they have loads of interesting stuff, but they are not interested in sending it to other parts of the country.

GrumpyGnome
Yeah, I've bought a couple of small things, with no issues or problems. As leccyflyer says, they don't deliver large items....
Edgeflyer
Small items were all good and posted nicely. Not the cheapest but accurate descriptions. Probably for closer buyers worth considering for used airframes
Don Fry
I bought a kit. Accurate description, well packed. I would use them again.
Andy Stephenson
Some of their prices do seem a bit unrealistic.

APOB do offer reasonable prices for stuff they buy in as I found out when a club mate died and his widow contacted them to sell hus gear. They have to factor in their time and transport costs to be realistic. Its us the buyers who I fear are being unrealistic and want used items for peanuts. I often hear flyers asking excessively high prices for stuff when selling but only want to give pennies when buying. We all like a bargain but if a seller asks for more they can be accused of being unrealistic etc. 3

Andy Stephenson
Try RCJapan, OS No8 plugs delivered for £6 each, providing you buy a few. There are lot of cheap copies out there but these are proven genuine.

I don't get through enough to make that worthwhile, on the very rare occasion I need to buy a glow plug I'll get it from a UK retailer.
