ted hughes
A few months ago I sold a sailplane on eBay, unknown to me and the buyer (who collected it) there was a Futaba 2.4 Rx still in the nose. When I couldn't find it at home, I asked him to check, he returned it by return post. It was worth more than the sailplane.
brfc7
Not surprised this buyer wasn't happy with the supplied canopy for the trex 450 they had bought. **LINK** baz
Martin Harris - Moderator
Obviously not using Parcel Force for the interplanetary delivery - try getting anything to Jupiter for £100 - even second class! Dai Fledermaus
Why do EBAY sellers say such daft things? He claims to know nothing about the model, but says that it's not only Rare but Vintage. It might be either or both, but by his own admission he doesn't know that. I suspect the bids have more to do with the engine. LINK

mightypeesh
To be fair Peter it does seem to come with at least one servo! Does that count as being fitted with 'radio gear' though?
Peter Miller
And it does look reasonably built.
mightypeesh
Oops, my mistake. It says you need radio gear not with radio gear......... that makes the servo a bonus! I could still get an awful lot of balsa for two hundred sqiddles though!
Andy Green
Problem here is if you buy a kit for say £60 (not checked what a JR 60 is these days) and spend a couple of weeks putting it together, we don't see that as adding value. Its second hand and only worth £25. How much is someones time worth to put one together. Ask Fighter Aces for a price to build it Andy
Bob Cotsford
but Fighter Aces, Kingfisher Aviation etc have professional reputations as kit builders, this is some unknown nelly on ebay!
John Privett
And for a lot of people buying a Jr 60, much of the enjoyment comes from building it - so they'd feel a bit cheated if somebody else had already done that bit! Even if it does look like it's been done quite well... I followed the link and immediately saw a message saying it had been relisted. "Ah!", I thought, "he's seen sense, ended the auction and relisted with a more sensible starting price." But no, the sale had simply come to an end with nobody having bid, so having learnt from that he's relisted it at the same price!

Wilco Wingco
Bought a Jr 60 WITH servos off the same site last year for £3.50. Just had to cover the wing. Fitted a old OS 40 FS and she potters round a treet. That's what I call a real find.
