Peter Miller
Once again we have someone who found this in a barn. He knows nothing about it but he does know that it is rare! He is also a lousy photographer, the pictures are about as dim as the seller. He also seems to think that duplicating pictures will make it more attractive. No, it isn't 2500, it is 2.5cc. Rare blob
Daithi O Buitigh
To be fair there's that much dirt and gunk on it the decimal point is easily overlooked
Paul Marsh
I bought a Fuji new from Deansgate model shop in the 90's couldn't get the thing to run. Pile of rubbish - it went in the bin. Luckily I only paid £5 for it.
Peter Miller
I had a Fuji 29 in 61. ran well, flew it a lot. WEalso have a very old Fuji 35 in a club, the owner fitted to my WRrewolf and flew it a lot before it finally wore out.
Peter Miller
Just seen this WE now have a new phrase to go with "Vintage" and "I know nothing about these" "Great vintage patina" THis means that it is filthy!!!!
trebor
It would be ok if it was an air cooled VW.
Martian
memories this would be good for Danny Fenton to practice with shame about the price (not realistic) and what is an ornamate ,and note the hand made tank hand made tank

mightypeesh
Talking of people who don't know what they are selling - found this under 'aeroplane engines' section - comes with 'two shafts' - he is not sure what they are but 'may come in useful for something' Oh and of course the free corrosion that seems to be coming free with a lot of stuff lately! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blue-Bird-N-S-46-Engine-/252079109354?hash=item3ab115f4ea Seem to remember my brother having something like this on an old ladder framed rc stock car in the seventies. Ian Mat
Is this for real? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACROWOT-XL-RC-AEROPLANE-DESIGNED-BY-CHRIS-FOSS-/201372258869?hash=item2ee2b8d235 I thought it came fully equipped and even then it would still be hugely expensive, however this looks to be airframe only!! Paul Marsh
It would be out of stock, and its easier to put a silly price, then delete the listing and having to re-list again. Hopefully no-one would buy it until it comes in.
Martin Whybrow
Posted by Daithi O Buitigh on 06/09/2015 14:34:21: I think somebody goofed with this one The high bidder, presumably!

Peter Miller
Now here we have someone who really knows how to totally ruin and engine Note that ALL surfaces have been sand blasted includind the bearing housings and the seating faces for the liner and cylinder head. Note also the carefully blackened cylinder liner. IT takes a special talent to do that. I can't see if the piston has been sand blasted Is he going to pay the buyer the pound to take it away?
