McG 6969
Congrats to Zoonie, Ade & John P. Even after 're-shuffling' my cars & drivers, my journey down the pecking order goes on... The only consistency that appears is the very bad quality of my predictions... I guess I'll have to wait for the new regulations in... 2026. See you all in Magyar territory. Zflyer
Wow, how did that happen. I suppose the only thing to rely on P1, Verst and Fastest Lap, Verts. Sorry just cannot bring myself to type his full name. Great racer no doubt.
John Privett
Evening all! Hungary this weekend, so first of all the customary reminder; Don't forget your predictions! With the 'alternative tyre allocation' system in place this weekend to reduce the number of sets of tyres used, the times from P1 and P2 might not give much of an indication as to performance in Sunday's race. P1 started in dry conditions but was soon red-flagged when Perez crashed. The session resumed in wet conditions. Fastest (in the first few, dry laps) was Russell with Piastri second and Stroll 3rd. Only 13 drivers set times in P1. P2 saw Leclerc set fastest lap, just 0.015 seconds ahead of Norris, with Gasly almost a quarter of a second back in third. Verstappen set 11th fastest time, Hamilton 16th fastest and Russell 20th fastest (aka 'slowest'!) The Mercedes drivers however used just one set of (medium) tyres in proactice today, Verstappen used only 2 sets (soft) in P2. In his return, Ricciardo was 14th fastest in P2. So, probably not a lot to be gained from looking at the practice times so far. Whether P3 is any more representative, we'll have to wait and see. The new tyre system also means that in Q1 all drivers will be running hard tyres, in Q2 they'll be on mediums, and all will be on soft tyres in Q3. P3 is at 11:30 UK-time tomorrow with qualifying at 15:00. Sunday's race is at 14:00. Good luck everyone! McG 6969
Well, I guess it was about my turn... I made some 'banker' predictions a while ago and adapted them after FP3 this morning. In fact, I just obtained a full 'blanco' page apparently... with 'nothing' saved at all... Just wondering how in the standings I 'll finish tomorrow... ??? ... John Tee
I have shot myself in the foot badly. I was on the Fantasygp site and looking at our league. I clicked a button to leave the site ,as I thought, and have removed myself from the league. Is there any way of getting back in? I assume I can rejoin with the code but have I lost my points permanently? John

McG 6969
Congrats to Ade, Zoonie & Tony... Well, taking into account my lack of saved predictions, I'm relieved to see that I'm not that far away down the order. Next time better, I hope. See you all in my homeland... see you in Spa... Glenn Philbrick
Very much a lottery for me this year. I swapped my team about this week and obviously picked all the duffers ! If I'd left it alone I would have done better. Just goes to show thinking too much is bad for you. 🤔🤔

John Tee
Checked the Fantasygp website and I am back in the league still with my 1225 points but ranked 0. No change as 0 is last which is the position I have held almost as long as I have been in the league. Onwards and upwards as some one once said. Erfolg
Do not worry John, I am not doing well, with my selections either, plus my predictions are, well, not great. I have seen, Aston slide back, then seen McClaren come to the fore. Mercedes with Lewis just moaning, now they are no longer the certain winners. Then there is me with 10/10 hindsight. I hope to do better. I do wonder what happens if my driver is sacked? Is that a change that costs me yet more points, whivh I have not gained😢
