John Privett
Evening all, Once again, with the channel4 highlights programme now in full-swing, I'll publish our results from today with the usual disclaimer; If you're watching the highlights programme and don't want any clues about the results, then it's probably a good idea to look away now! So first, how did we all score this weekend; Pos League Rank Team Manager Pts 1 1 0 Essex Racing Tony Clark 229 2 4 0 PSS Power Flyer 210 3 5 0 Hidden Cucumber fat brownie 205 4 2 0 Revers Racing Pete B 201 5 3 0 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 193 6 6 0 Iqonic racing iqon 181 7 10 1 LetsGoTotoLetsGo GrumpyGnome 179 8 14 0 GASTON Formula Chris McG 176 = 7 0 teewrex John Tee 176 10 9 0 DMFC Racing Team Simon Webb 174 11 8 0 Pitts Specials john stones 161 12 11 1 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 143 13 15 1 Hans Brake Zoonie 141 14 13 0 Torque of the devil Stu 137 15 16 1 The JP Specials johnpflyrc 128 16 12 0 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 126 Top place today goes to Tony with 229 points. Further down the table, GrumpyGnome takes 10th place from Carl. And as hinted at last week, I have now snatched last place from Zoonie. But I'm only 4 points behind you, Zoonie! So, an incident, and penalty, packed race today. And the constructors' championship result goes on to be decided next weekend at Abu Dhabi. It's a 'normal' race weekend, with qualifying at 14:00 UK-time on Saturday - so get your predictions done before then! 2

John Privett
Evening all, Abu Dhabi this weekend for the final race of the season. So, for the last time this year, the customary reminder; Don't forget your predictions! Earlier today, P1 saw 6 teams fielding rookie drivers - including Arthur Leclerc, brother of Charles. It was Charles Leclerc who set fastest time in the session ahead of Norris with Hamilton third fastest. However, Leclerc has a 10-place grid penalty to take on Sunday due to exceeding his allocation of Energy Stores. P2 saw McLaren set the two fastest times, Norris ahead of Piastri - who had not driven in P1. Hulkenberg was third fastest, ahead of Sainz and Hamilton. The Red Bulls seemed to have issues, with Verstappen 17th and Perez 14th. P3 is at 10:30 tomorrow, followed by qualifying at 14:00. Sunday's race is at 13:00 Now, as Charles has already mentioned, the battle for 3rd in our league is rather close, with Ade just 24 points adrift of Charles, and fat brownie just 17 points further back. Good luck everyone!

Well done Tony! Pete holds on to second, and Charles is third. Well done to them too. And as already pointed out, I managed to retain my hard-earnt last place! I'm off to sack my team now, and to devise a new, cunning plan for 2025... 🤔 So again, well done to our season's top 3, and indeed to all of you for beating me! It's been a long season, and today's race kept us guessing right up to the end. But a well-deserved (in my opinion) win for Lando, and confirmation of 2nd place for him in the Driver's championship, plus the Constructor's title for McLaren. Next season looks like being close. John Privett
Good team, Tony - as the results proved! Looking at it now, you'd wonder how it was possible to get that team within the available budget, but of course back at the start of the season both Norris and Piastri, and indeed McLaren, would have been seen as outsiders! Well done again - a great pick!

Pete B
Once again a huge thank you to John P for running the league, your final position doesn't do justice to the time and effort you put in throughout the series. Let's hope for better luck next year! Congratulations to Tony on your victory, try as I might I couldn't keep pace, you were always a wheel ahead throughout the year and the battle for third was truly entertaining and kept the suspense up to the final race, with Charles taking the honours. Well done to everyone! It was a hard year for predictions and I can only attribute my placing to some astute team selection early in the year which made up the bulk of my scoring, as my predictions were pretty awful most of the time...😏 I had dropped Russell, Lawson and Ferrari by the Austrian GP and ended with following team, which I kept for the rest of the season. Really glad Pierre Gasly eventually came good! As you can see, I made a healthy profit across the board buying when I did as I ended up with a team value of $114m - not the normal story of my life😀 Let's hope next year's series is as entertaining as this season has been (I've already got my ticket for Spain😉) and I look forward to seeing you all again next year. A bit early but Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you all!🥳 2
John Tee
Congratulations to Tony, Pete and Charles. As others have said many thanks to John P for running the league. Charles Pic
Thanks everyone! What luck to get a good result in the final race so I could hang onto third place 😀 After being outside the top ten last year I don’t know what changed this time - probably mainly that I added McLaren and Piastri to my team soon before McLaren’s form improved halfway through the year. Thanks John for diligently running the league and congrats to Tony and Pete.

John Privett
Simon - no you're not, we all are! 😁 (At least according to our own views) No doubt we all got the email yesterday from fantasygp reminding us that the season starts in less than 4 weeks from now. And that the fantasygp game is open for team selection from 8pm tonight. But before then you can 'reactivate' your teams and look at the driver pricing to work out who you want to select. Then from this evening, actually select them. I've reactivated the league - and found Simon and GrumpyGnome already in it 👍, so it looks like last year's entrants can simply rejoin without needing a code. Pos League Rank Team Manager Pts Rankings are random until after the first race 1 0 0 The JP Specials johnpflyrc 0 = 0 0 DMFC Racing Team Simon Webb 0 = 0 0 LetsGoTotoLetsGo GrumpyGnome 0 Any new entrants from the forum would be most welcome. Get yourself setup with a team on https://fantasygp.com/ (and please don't select the "Pro" membership there) and to join our league you will need the My Fantasy GP League Code: 8397165 As usual we have $75 million to play with, and unlimited changes until round 3. Round 1 is in Melbourne on 16 March, and there's pre-season testing from 26-28 Feb in Bahrain. Now, go and work out who you want on your teams! 3

As for the budget, yes Pete, it would be nice to have a bigger budget. But then we could all buy the top cars/drivers. So I guess we're stuck with the budget we've got. Hopefully I can do better than last year - well I could hardly do much worse! 🤔 Right, time for me to go and have a look at those numbers again... 1
