Denis Watkins
Right guys, on a semi professional 24" x 18" bed, with square corners There is no creasing. This is due to the clamp being uniform and 1" x 1/2" steel, is sturdy, and the vacuum does not leak at the corners There is too a heat resistant rubber seal all around the mask Also the element covers the whole area, and the unit costs a lot of money Now, an home made unit has usually a wide spaced cooker element which does the job given time to heat the thermoplastic But the corners are often not tight enough Get any kind of sturdy clamp, even G clamps, to tighten down the corners and all should be well

stu knowles
I found that corner creasing was minimised by raising the former off the Vac bed an inch or so

Mark Stevens 1
To all those who have Pm'd me asking for copies of the plan / Instructions of the Vac-Former, I have replied and have emailed them direct to those who provided email addresses (I cannot attach PDF files on the messenger on here) For those who did not provide an email address, I have replied for you to Pm the details and I'll send the plans / Instructions out to you. This is the unit as is - it can be modified quite easily to whatever size you want Mark
