Peter Miller
Wait until the Team MInimax comes out. Then you can really enjoy covering
EarlyBird
Fuselage is almost finished. Motor and ESC installed. Control horns and canopy is all that's left to do. The wings are progressing, slowly. For some reason I did not fit the hardwood blocks for the outriggers before I sheeted the wings. ? I did not have any suitable hardwood so I used laminated Birch ply for the blocks and with a bit of precision surgery was able to glue them in place. Final sanding the wings now. EarlyBird
One month later Wing servos fitted, used some double sided tape for the first time. Flying got in the way of building ? Cheers

EarlyBird
This is how it should be. Covering next but what colours. White and Blue are my favourites at the moment so I will go with that. Cheers
EarlyBird
Started the wing covering with the ailerons and fitted to the wing. Top view Top view with the aileron folded back. Bottom view. This is the first model on which I have used covering film hinges and so far no issues. Cheers

EarlyBird
and more of the same... Marked up a straight line and used masking tape to define the line. Like this. Seems to work to me. Wing tips and centre section then onto the top. ? Cheers
Ron Gray
Nice work EB.
EarlyBird
Thanks Ron. Tips done and servos fitted. Centre covering to do but I am leaving that as a reminder of a stupid mistake. ? Rubbing it in and committing it to long term memory is the idea. There are a few things I could have done better but I am still learning and it will fly so I am happy enough not to lose sleep over it.
