Fuselage is almost finished. Motor and ESC installed.

Control horns and canopy is all that's left to do.

The wings are progressing, slowly. For some reason I did not fit the hardwood blocks for the outriggers before I sheeted the wings. ?

 

I did not have any suitable hardwood so I used laminated Birch ply for the blocks and with a bit of precision surgery was able to glue them in place.

 

Final sanding the wings now.

Started the wing covering with the ailerons and fitted to the wing.

This is the first model on which I have used covering film hinges and so far no issues.

Tips done and servos fitted.

Centre covering to do but I am leaving that as a reminder of a stupid mistake. ?

Rubbing it in and committing it to long term memory is the idea.

 

There are a few things I could have done better but I am still learning and it will fly so I am happy enough not to lose sleep over it.
