Chris Reid
1. I fly mode 2. 2. Gloucestershire. 3. Gloucestershire. 4. Self taught with occasional advice. Mode 2 is more natural for me as I'm an occasional full size pilot and elevator and ailerons in the right hand feels right. Also, I came back to RC after a 35 year gap with only bang, bang, rudder experience. My first propo TX came in mode 2 so I stayed with it. Dave Harbour
I fly mode 2. I live in the south east (Aylesbury). I learned to fly properly in the same place. I learned a certain amount myself but then took proper instruction to save some money, heart ache and models form A&DMFC (Richard Ginger, Most grateful). Dante
OK here goes an Oldie! 1. I fly mode 1 2. I learnt in the Greatrer London area 1970 3. I now fly in the South (Dorset) 4. I was taught by an insytructor As a point of interest, the majority of flyers i came into contact with in those earlier days, flew Mode 1. from memmory the Mode 2 brigade started to become more prominent towards the end ofthe 70's, their comments usually stating that it was the way REGULAR pilots flew! They were the cocky lot at the time!!!
