I changed to an A1 after years of using an Ender 3, IME it still needed work to dial in filament settings but is hassle free once done. I've had the recall and a power switch failure however on both occasions Bambu support have been very responsive and sent replacement parts. At high speeds I wouldn't call it quiet but it can be tamed down by reducing the various speed settings. It's let me spend more time designing stuff rather than playing with the printer.

Clue is in the name of the application, "Converter". It converts FLD files to CSV hence on loading the FLD file to be converted it asks for the filename to use when writing out the CSV file. A CSV file is a text file in which data is in a table format and values are separated by Commas (Comma Separated Values) and isn't harmful. As well as Excel you can also use Google Sheets at https://docs.google.com to import the CSV file and create line charts.

Is the TX in Mode 1 or Mode 2?
-
If possible try not to transfer the data by removing the sd card from the TX and inserting in your laptop, it's bit of a pain. Instead investigate how you can connect your TX via a USB cable to your laptop and then browse via Windows explorer to the sd card and copy the logs off. This should be possible with a modern TX and may well be used for getting updates into the TX.

Back to slow again and it isn't an ISP/telco issue.

Seems to have sped up now, someone woke the sysadmin up?

As GG says Peter, if you want to upgrade to Windows 11 you'll need newer hardware and unless you have a burning need to upgrade stay on Windows 10.

For the PDFs this might work converting to a JPG https://www.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/online/pdf-to-jpg.html then import into Fusion. If you Google "DWG to JPG converter" many free online options are returned, ie https://cloudconvert.com/dwg-to-jpg You may have to try a few to find the best for you. One other option, I've got QCAD fully licensed which will export a DWG as a PDF, let me know if you want me to try this and you can send me the files?

With my OS46 in a Seagull Boomerang trainer I experimented with a 12" prop but for me the 11" worked better. My Boomerang had the typical learner bent noseleg and in conjunction with our longish grass on the strip the 12 was catching the grass on take off.

Thank you both, put my mind at rest, ordered a Lentus. 👍 -
Amazon selects Teesside as trial drone delivery location
PDB replied to PeterF's topic in In The Air
We're discussing Prime in the UK, items outside of Prime (i.e. not held in an Amazon warehouse and fulfilled by a 3rd party) will attract a delivery fee which is it clearly stated when you view and again when you purchase the item. Maybe it is a different situation in France? -
New from Multiplex - Lentus 3m Glider
PDB replied to Steve Colman's topic in Gliders and Gliding - General Discussion
Any other Lentus owners hand launch? I'm trying to decide between a Heron or Lentus for flat field thermaling and a lot of the time I will be on my own. My field is often soft or wet and ROG isn't possible, the Heron looks simple to hand launch but I was wondering if the increased size of the Lentus, which I would prefer, makes it a challenge to hand launch. It's a wad of cash to spend for me so any input appreciated. 👍 -
Here's another guide which helped me first time I did it. https://www.flitetest.com/articles/printing-flite-test-plans

Their Model A uses 2mm steel rod stringers in the rear of the fuselage https://www.eclipson-airplanes.com/modela but it didn't stop me from breaking it.🙄

As per the topic title, if you're looking for cheap https://fpvuk.org/membership-benefits/ is half the price of the BMFA and may cover your requirements.

Having shot HFT for many years agree with the route you're taking which is getting to a club first. Members will happily let you try kit out so you can find what suits you and often there will be good used kit to be had. IMO the most important thing in HFT is to find the scope with optics that suit you as we all have different eye conditions. I am thinking about returning after a break of a couple of years because it isn't as weather dependant as model flying.

Getting down and up from the mat for prone shots can be a pain hence the stick class is now common in clubs.👍

Have you been through the settings on your GoPro to see if you can narrow the field of view?

Being mechanically inept and new to IC engines I just followed the instructions in the manual. 2 years later both OS46AX's run lovely, never been adjusted since running in, start by hand easily and have plenty of power. 👍

From that article. LAN mode is for a printer on the "same" network as your computer running Bambu Studio.
