Tim Hooper
Many, many thanks for all your support, gents! It's very gratifying to know that the B2 has generated such interest.I have to admit that my sole 5S cell pack is feeling its age, so power was down to around 700 watts (measured), so the first and only flight was confined to slow, low flypasts to enable Netty to grab a few pics. 7 minutes of flights only used up 1700mah, which bodes very well indeed! The B2 is certainly very stable. I didn't try any aerobatics at all, but the ailerons are as gentle as their size suggests, the rudder is quite powerful as are the elevators. Not a problem with my usual 40% expo dialled in.The CG looks to be spot on, and will remain as is.I grabbed a few static shots as well .....tim
Ian Easton
What a fantastic model Tim. Congratulations on the maiden flight. I'm sure you a few nerves when it started to trundle off down the runway. Inspirational, truly inspirational. Ian

Tim Hooper
Again, many thanks to you all! Now comes the tidying-up part of the project - the plan, pics and article all need their final fettling before submitting to RCM+E. Then comes catch-up tasks on the rest of the collective hangar, followed by boring nonsense around the house. Then I can start to mooch about for inspiration for the next project! tim

Tim Hooper
OK, enough......Ian, given it's only had one landing it's a little too early to comment on the suspension, except that it survived without incident and was definitely seen to function at the point of touch down. No improvements to be made as yet. tim
Chris Bott - Moderator
Hi Tim, I'm just trying to figure how exactly I've missed the build blog all the way along. I guess I've been on another planet or something? Having had a good read, I see what a daft question it was to ask you how you did the shiny!Amazing work, just make sure you look after her until Greenacres
