Wooraaa isn't he just down the road now in an Italian Red Bull, will he be allowed back in a proper Red Bull.

At least Chico gets back up the grid, in the race, having handicapping himself in qualification.

Now, the possibilities explode, what about Norris or Russel in a Red Bull. I just remember there was no way that he Lewis would allow Vettel drive a Mercedes. Oh, the politics. Will my driver be replaced? will he be any better, given the politics?

John I suspect you are correct with Russel, although not as outspoken and accusative as Lewis, some how it does not come across as impartial. Plus I guess his existing team would also suggest that he could be taking information with him.

Lewis seems to more than hint at the RB being illegal, in that it does not confirm to the regulations. I do remember the Mercedes tow in mechanism, as being illegal when RB stated they were introducing a similar system, and would hence forth be for all teams. I guess that Mercedes wings and body parts are totally rigid, as allegations at other teams suggest this.

... I had exactly the same, John S...

I removed Max from my pole prediction knowing he was having a grid penalty.

It was like that the previous seasons but I discovered that Fantasy GP changed it in the 2023 regs as they explain on their Facebook page...

Dunno why but I should have some specs at well, I guess.

Good luck anyhow, young man...

Evening all!

With the channel 4 coverage well and truly finished,  let's take a look at todays' results!

= 16 16 teewrex John Tee 149
15 15 1 Oyster f1 Glenn Philbrick 141
16 12 2 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 138

Topping today's results is Simon with 236 points.

Second is John S on 220 points.

And just short by 1 point is Iqon,  third with 219 points.

Well done to today's top 3!

As for the overall table,  I see some changes...

Pos League
Rank
Team Manager Pts
1 1 1 Iqonic racing iqon 2284
2 2 1 Essex Racing Tony Clark 2268
3 3 0 Pitts Specials john stones 2201
4 4 0 GASTON Formula Chris McG 2133
5 5 1 DMFC Racing Team Simon Webb 2080
6 6 1 LetsGoTotoLetsGo GrumpyGnome 2074
7 7 1 The JP Specials johnpflyrc 1978
8 8 1 Hans Brake Zoonie 1960
9 9 0 Revers Racing Pete B 1936
10 10 2 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 1923
11 11 0 PSS Power Flyer 1884
12 12 2 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 1878
13 13 0 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 1783
14 14 1 Torque of the devil Stu 1576
15 15 1 Oyster f1 Glenn Philbrick 1570
16 16 16 teewrex John Tee 1404

And it's now Iqon in top place, displacing Tony to second - but there's only 16 points between them.

The next two places are unchanged with John S still third and Chris fourth, but then Simon moves up to 5th at the expense of GrumpyGnome who slips to 6th.  Only 6 points separate those two though.

I move up to 7th, just 18 points ahead of Zoonie who is now 8th.

Ade remains 11th,  but sees the players above and below him swap places!  Carl is now 10th,  Kev is now 12th.

Final place change today is Stu moving up to 14th ahead of Glenn, now in 15th.  But it's close,  just 6 points between them.

John T is shown as having dropped 16 places - but I think that's just a result of him accidentally removing himself and then rejoining the league!

Summer break time now - next race is at the end of August in the Netherlands,  with Italy the following weekend.

Don't forget your predictions!
