Concorde Speedbird
That looks ridiculously good! That's a 'one for the future' project for me, along with many others! You have done an excellent job with this tricky subject, well done. I look forwards to analysing the plans when they appear in the magazine. Al Knights
Well, brought the kit plans woos etc at the nats. Now got the motors and esc's.The retracts arrived today, so just the servos to go, then I should be ready.
Matt Jones
Tony, I now have the plan and the vac formed bits I got yesterday at Gaydon. For those who decide not to use the laser cut kit have you created a wood list of what is needed?
Tony Nijhuis
No Matt, but you will see on our plan (not the free pull-out plan) that we show all the cnc parts as they would be laid out on the sheets if one had bought the cnc pack. It also shows the sizes of the sheets and the wood thickness. This firstly give you understanding where the parts are on the cnc pack so you can label them before pressing out. However, it also allows the non cnc builder to gauge which materials are extra and then gives the builder the information to accurately layout the parts on blank sheets of wood to get the best economy
Martin McIntosh
Tony, is the canopy available separately as I would like to build a different version and only require this and the plan? If so, how much for the two?
Tony Nijhuis
Should able to organise a canopy only....not sure of a price but be around the £15 mark. Email me a reminder through the web site and I'll confirm
