I fly sport and scale and have allways  flown mode1 because that was how i was taught way back in 1975 mode 2 was very rare then i think only one other person flew mode 2

the area i am talking about is Hull, East Yorkshire.

Chose Mode 2 'cos the right stick then had the same controls a full size gliders I was learning to fly at that time.

Most of my West Midlands club fly Mode 1. This is perpetuated by all club training being on Mode 1

I taught myself on 2ch liders and the tranny had two sticks so I used both. It made it easier to seperate the rudder and elevator.
