Zflyer
Good luck to all the participants in tomorrows challenge. I trust you all have a dry and not too windy day and the bun liners stay in the car.
Bruce Collinson
Thank you. The forecast has improved at North Leeds during the day and we are currently expecting a straight westerly which is our optimum direction. Apparently we are at c. 27 flying. Ron Gray
Photos to follow but a great turn out with more than 50 members and guests, I think our 'official' count was 49 in the air!

Murat Kece 1
Due to weather conditions only 6 of us made it at Kerloch, Aberdeenshire.. We managed to launch and land safely before the havens open up the rain taps.. Edited May 14, 2023 by Murat Kece 1
Cuban8
Both of my clubs took part but with much reduced participation this year. I enjoyed the day, but I think maybe twice is enough now. Heard that a drone was sighted near Gatwick Airport, but apparently later in the afternoon, thank goodness. Just imagine what the MSM would have made of our record attempt and the 'killer drone' appearing at midday? Probably a lot of nonsense anyway as before. GrumpyGnome
Strangely, our numbers were up this year....... watchers were press-ganged into getting involved!
Ron Gray
Seems to be a ‘problem’ submitting more than 40 participants? Maybe @Andy Symons - BMFA could look into it please?

John Minchell
So when do we find out if last years record was exceeded or not? There's nothing on the BMFA website.
