SIMON CRAGG
E.bay was good back in the day, but now flooded with overpriced tat and crippling on costs. I have now switched all my model buying / selling activities to Facebook marketplace. No problem sellling kits, airframes and engines. Purchased a couple of excellent ic models. On costs? Virtually nil so far apart from a bit of petrol. Either collect or deliver locally. No brainer really.
Peter Miller
Well, we have all seen some junk on Ebay but this lot is the ultimate. Bidong has reach £3.20...not worth it!! **LINK**

John Lee
Here's a nice little 'plane, but I can't help but think the pricing is a trifle optimistic.....

Don Fry
Other half of the coin, I bought this from Germany, a OS 91 Described as little used etc , photo shows a very clean engine. Reality is a brand new, unrun, engine, which MAY have been mounted. 95 Euro. Now I know these things are not fashionable. But sell the strong points on stuff. Nigel R
I don't think ebay is any more or less full of bad stuff compared to a number of years ago. There are always some good bargains on there.

Peter Miller
I haven't seen any really good examples latey but this one takes the cake. Note, it is described as "used" and the definition if "useed" is given just above the listing description **LINK**

leccyflyer
£200+ for a Flair Scout kit NIB isn't unusual at all - not just on eBay either. they are very sought after. Here's a different kettle of fish altogether. Link Flat finish Oracover covering with accurate and scale colour scheme? 16 Channel Futaba radio set ( looks more like 6 channel to me)
Peter Miller
Flair Puppeteer!! **LINK** The seller is living on cloud cuckoo land!!
leccyflyer
The seller is an antique dealer, judging by the description and ebay name. The Puppeteer looks as much like an Albatros DIII as that Spitfire in the link I posted looks like a Mustang.
Peter Miller
And painted as a Fokker DVII. I know but you have to allow for the ignorant. Actually suprising that he had heard of the Albatross.

leccyflyer
The RX is a Frsky 2.4ghz unit Geoff, so the Futaba tx most likely has a module.
