Caveman
Just been browsing the engines for sale on Ebay and came across this SC32 It's entered in the category 'New other' , yet it's clearly been well abused. It's generally dirty and the carb housing is cracked on both sides!! I can't find any way to report this to Ebay as a misleading description Just shows how some sellers abuse the system, and has 100% positive feedback! FlyinBrian
I emailed the seller saying his description was incorrect, he acknowledged my email and altered the listing.
Robin Colbourne
This one's just a curiosity; some moulds and plugs for a number of fuselages and a boat hull. Can you identify them? The top one looks a bit like the plug or an actual fuselage for the 'Bowman's of Ipswich' Hawker Hurricane, the others look vaguely Galaxy Magician/Mystic shaped, but the kits had wooden fuselages. The bottom one is a glider of some sort. It was a '£1 maximum selling fees' listing weekend which probably explains the lack of preparation in the photos, so I'm not going to criticise. Rod Parsons 1
Wow Those Irvine engines must be good. They must be up there with Hanno Specials. **LINK**
Nigel R
I saw those the other day. Tempted to offer to take his the engine and £400 of his pounds, then meet halfway at £50 for the engine.

Jeff Sorry Jeff et al, It would have helped! 'RC Plane Moulds' The jet-shaped one is somewhat reminiscent of the Gnatty trainer kitted by the Leicester Model Centre. Cheers, Robin Edited By Robin Colbourne on 30/09/2020 18:08:
Alan Gorham_
Actually the "jet shaped" fuselage is the John Carpenter designed HS Gnat (IE a scale model).
Wilco Wingco
Posted by David H on 26/09/2020 08:01:08: File a report **LINK** Don't bother. I reported fake Futaba servos being sold several times and the sellers are still active.
leccyflyer
Not seeing an issue there -it's listed as being for spares or repairs. The seller took notice of the advice received and altered the listing.

John Privett
I used to think that badly-exposed, out-of-focus pictures on eBay listings were just a sign of the seller's incompetence in using a camera. I now realise it's most likely a deliberate way of providing pictures without actually allowing a potential buyer to spot whatever 'issues' the product has... Robin Colbourne
Posted by Doc Marten on 10/10/2020 11:01:55: This guy often has engines listed but I've never, ever, even once seen a set of images that are in focus, I emailed him for some additional photos and they were worse! Is it anyone on here? Boringoldman I've bought from him too; no problems at all. If he's losing bidders for his engines because his photos are out of focus, then you've got less competition for them. Martin Dance 1
Ah! but then all you have to do is build a pair of wings for the fuselage and a fuselage and tail plane for the wings and you've got two models, oh hang on...
