WE were lucky enough to have a commercial artist as a member many years ago who did the logo. We chose the name to suit our laid back attitude. Ours may look a little old fashioned compared to some of the very impressive artwork above - but it's remained unchanged since at least 1937 when it adorned the first copy of the club newsletter of which we are lucky enough to have a copy. It may date back even further as the club was formed in 1935. It will remain unchanged as long as I can influence things! We fly on part of the old RAF Warboys airfield which was a pathfinders base during the war and operated Lancasters.
