Tony Bennett
I have spent the day restoring a TN Hurricane that was left to me in a great friends will (RIP Garry) I built this for him 5 years ago when i built four at once. so now it is home and will be flown again very soon. I also picked up the retro aerobatic model that i built for him a year later, this needs bringing back to full glory and flown. The tuccano in the back ground is an artf and will also be flown again soon. Tony B

Carlo Baggio
Posted by Peter Miller on 25/09/2015 09:16:41: This is my Aerolab Locamp, An Italian designed kit plane. it is 1/6th scale, 60" span and powered by an OS 48 Surpass which blends in rather nicely with the dummy engine. That dummy engine took almost as long as the model to build. FLaps a re so effective that the model will not come down when they are lowered. Edited By Peter Miller on 25/09/2015 09:18:44 I have tried a 1:4 about scale version with electric propulsion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIghRLUkBPY

Carlo Baggio
Thanks Robert and Martin. After modifying a Sig Kadet Senior with aileron and flaps I was looking for a similar electric low wing model. Unfortunately the 500 pages LoCamp manual followed by Peter for his superb model was no longer available, but the owner of the Golden Age Aeroworks put me in contact with the Italian designer and he kindly sent me the CAD 3 views. I got the undercarriage from spares of the H9 1/4 Cub and the radial engine from Williams Brothers Wasp The engine is an Himax 5018 on a 16x8 prop and 4S 5000, set for a 600 watts max output Flying weight 6 Kgs
Peter Miller
Very nice Carlo. Great to see another one being built. IT is just like a low wing Cub. Sorry but I no longer have the manual on my chromebook. Traplet had (have?) the plans of mine.
Tony Bennett
She is coming home. 4 years after i built her, she never got flown. so i will be doing a restoration and then it will get flown in memory of my mate Garry. picking her up after the nats, so i will need an empty car. john stones 1 - Moderator
Here's mine from Nats swap meet. An Hobby Shack Gigolo (USA) anyone know it, pretty big flying surfaces n a weighty fuzz, should handle a breeze well.

Paul Marsh
Loads of new models, bought 5 at the Nats. One is a FMS P39, Airacobra and these other 4: H9 ME109, eflite retracts, turnigy petrol engine, hitec MG servos, life rx batteries via a dual power swtich, ignition batt and came with wing bags: £145 P61 Black Widow Kyosho FW190 with OS 52 FS and servos, mechanical retracts. and this for £20. shame as it had no interest, but has a new Eneloop 5 cell battery, Enya 30 and servos... Peter Miller
Well, just finished Peggy Sue 2 58" span a fraction more area than Ballerina and an ounce or two lighter. If only it isn't too windy or cloudy, test flights on Sunday
