David Pearce 4
When Hobbyking had a flash sale reducing the Le Petite to £86 I grabbed one. It’s small, 810mm span, but I thought it had some classic charm. Reviews say it’s a good flyer too. The PNP package wasn’t perfect, the ESC was a dud and the elevator linkage needed re-gluing but otherwise it came together nicely. I added my own markings by drawing them in CorelDraw and printing my own waterslide decals. For the Snoopy pilot I drew it by copying a web image. This I printed a left and right version onto glossy photo paper which I glued to balsa sheet, resulting in a nice lightweight profile pilot. Maiden flight tomorrow. Peter Jenkins
New to me but not a brand new model. It's a CPLR Majestic put together by Darren Gould - thanks mate. I re-engined it with a DLE 35 RA with a canister. I have yet to finish trimming it but it flies really well.
Mark Kettle 1
36" wing span electric flying wing, like the FliteTest mini Arrow, starts life as double skinned 6 mm thick cardboard. Installed with a 3 cell lipo of 1300 mha. Test flew before I decorated it, I'll take it with me this weekend to fly over the sea at the Great Orme. Steve But Stephen, it's pnp, you only have to add RX and lipo and you get 10 minutes out of 1300mah! Mind you, my home made pilot is extra. Edited By David Davis on 08/04/2017 14:04:08 We once stayed at a small B&B in France where we ate in the same room as the family. There was a quiz programme on TV in which competitors were asked to say whether a noun was masculine or feminine. They got a lot wrong Admittedly, they were quite obscure words. Peter G Simpson
I gave this lady her first test flight at first light this morning, you can't beat a 2M floater on the slope. The model is a Gentle Lady built from the plan downloaded from OuterZone, with a sneaky electric motor in the nose just in case the lift fails and I can't be bothered to climb down the slope to retrieve her

Erfolg
Not strictly a new model, more of a conversion or update to the original PM concept. Previously the model had been hand launched with no UC. Now that I am at a field with shortish grass, I can use a UC, The updating was not without its issues, in that two servos although hardly used, just a flight or two, were not working and that the linkages to and from the elevator and rudder needed work. Took the pictures whilst taxing around the garden, as part of the pre-flight checks, That is movement of the surfaces and the fail-safe. Although the fail-safe is anything but in my opinion, it is probably no worse than random failure, although i suspect all result in a crash in the field. Hopefully this week end it will fly.
