Ron Gray
All of those wet and windy days over the last 3 - 4 weeks have meant that I’ve been able to get some models ready plus I couldn’t resist the Havok as I’ve always liked fast ‘planes. This one doesn’t disappoint especially once the standard prop is ditched and an APC 8x8 fitted. I have fitted a stabiliser Rx (FrSky S6R) but to be honest I switched it off after 4 flights as it’s rock steady. The only problem is that I keep breaking props as I’m landing it too hot, it takes a long while to slow down so I’m now using spoilerons to help slow it plus I’m going to use a folding prop and am currently 3D printing a spinner for it. Oh yes, nearly forgot, on Saturday I’m going to try it out with a 5s, should be interesting!

Peter Miller
AT last manaaged to test fly Miss Sizzles. First flight was very much "Half Crown Sixpence syndrome" but after that it was grteat. Amazingy small throws needed. Even on high rates at dead engien it refused to stall.

Tim Ballinger
Peter, Glad it went well. You lost me with the half crown reference . Turns on a sixpence I can do and I certainly remember half crowns but together in one expression ? Tim
Paul Marsh
Extra 300 I bought in box from Nats 10 years ago sold as seen. Had missing wing joiner and slight damage to fuz, but was only £25. The Irvine 72 I got from a Swap meet for £15, inc prop and spinner, so for £40, a airframe.

Geoff Copping
This is my first Funfly, and first electric power, other than glider. 52" Evolution Models Fusion II. Managed to get a calm day yesterday to maiden it. Can't get the smile off my faceAfter a few feet it was a near vertical take-off. 50% rates and 50% expo still gave plenty of aero's. Been out of the game for 20 years so taking it gently but will be happy to switch to full rates next time. 4Max PO 3547-800, purple 2600 3s, 40A ESC, JTX 14x7, thanks George. 3 clicks of down with CG 1.5" behind the spar. I is a happy bunny.

A VQ Hurricane, OS 70FS engine and found I had loads of u/c options, so put oleos (which i had) and electric retracts.
