Dai Fledermaus
I had 41 out of 49 of these correct, but I was expecting to do better than that. Some are too easy, but others are quite tricky. Don't use the HINT, that's cheating. LINK

kc
41 out of 49 = average so far. Plenty of warbirds not modelled so far in that lot...... bet that's got some modeller thinking of building one of those.

Jon H
47, but one i got wrong showed a picture of a P26 but the answer was apparently a5m so i feel robbed
Bucksboy
41 for me, mainly the Russian or Japanese planes was when I had to guess.
reg shaw
I got 47 too, though the Peashooter / A5M one is questionable to say the least! The other I got wrong was a Grumman Attacker or summat. The Yak 9 title is wrong too, it surely is a 3. Ian.
Dai Fledermaus
If someone gets them all right I be impressed. Some are a bit obscure and one or two are not in the insignia of the countries of origin just to confuse matters.
Stuphedd
My score was mainly luck , !!Not knowing them all but looking at the style and guessing and only failing 8 times , so I dont believe it counts ! cheers

McG 6969
... only 39 out of 49 correct... not really proud but not 'totally' ashamed neither as it is many moons ago that I built a few Airfix kits as a pre-teenager... and only a 'registered apprentice' here since a year or so. Congats, Jon. Cheers Chris Edited By McG 6969 on 09/02/2017 14:05:
Cuban8
44. A few that had to be a guess (mostly wrong).
ron evans
Good fun Dai, a poor 39 for me, Like my old school reports said.....must do better
Bob Cotsford
45 but a few were by deduction not recognition! The A5M certainly was a rip-off of the P26 Edited By Bob Cotsford on 09/02/2017 15:46:
TIM Shaw
Pah! Luxury! A mere 35 here, and some of those were guesses... Guess I'm not quite as old as some of you guys.......
Phil Brooks
44, but several of those were arrived at Sherlock style, by eliminating the obvious wrong answers. I don't see much resemblance between a Bell Kingcobra and a Short Stirling, for example
mightypeesh
42. Thanks for the link, makes a change to have an aeroplane based quiz thingy on ta internet.
Peter Miller
48 out of 49 and I am not sure which I am supposed to have got wrong. Some were cheats using incorrect markings and some where by elimination as "it isn't any of the others." The P26S was not, as far as I ever heard in the war. David Davis
39 but I don't care I'm a WW1 buff but I doubt if the Yanks will put up a Great War quiz!
Geoff S
A lot of them I'd never heard of and in a few cases I knew it wasn't 2 of the choices and on the resulting 50:50 gamble I seemed to get it wrong mostly At least the 34 I got right were the ones I should know. Interesting, though, especially as a lot of the pictures weren't exactly clear or from a good angle. Geoff
