Futaba has a new series of servos S-U300, S-U301, and S-U400.

300 is 4.8 to 6v, the other two are up to 8.4v. All are digital. The U300 is very reasonably priced.

I just started a couple u400's this weekend. Very nice servos.

I have also bought a couple of the Futaba 300's, a nice standard servo.

Looks like it us going to be the Seagull Flybaby .Think I go for the Savox 0352

Good servo but massive overkill for a model like that. I have standard servos in my 82 inch spacewalker and its no bother.

Mmmm, so what actual servos would you recommend for the Flybaby .It was so simple when it was just Futaba 148

Just had a look and cant believe the price of hitec 311's these days. They used to be about 5.99! in the light of that the savox 351 would be a good option. Still overkill, but the same price as a 311 and far better on spec. But, the 352 you originally chose is not that much more so it sadly looks like there are pretty small savings to be had these days going with lower spec servos. Been a while since i bought any and i didnt realise the price had crept so much.

I'd fit hitec 425... standard size servo with dual ball races, £15 a pop, my favourite standard.

Savox 351 looks identical to a hitec 311 in terms of torque and speed and bearings. The digital amp is neither here nor there on something like this. 352 is twice the price and way bigger and meaner.
