Jon H
The 311 will be fine and will fit your spektrum gear. The savox range are good though if you want something more powerful than a 311/148 replacement.
Engine Doctor
148 and Hitec servos are still around but buy from reputable source. Fake 148's and others advertised on ebay at around £12 for 4 ! The price should tell anyone that they are dangerous fakes but its amzing how many folk still buy them . Beware.

Colin Carpenter
I use a lot of Savox 0257 in planes and 450 helis. All good so far. Colin Edited May 31, 2023 by Colin Carpenter
Mike Mc
Futaba has a new series of servos S-U300, S-U301, and S-U400. 300 is 4.8 to 6v, the other two are up to 8.4v. All are digital. The U300 is very reasonably priced. I just started a couple u400's this weekend. Very nice servos. .

Mmmm, so what actual servos would you recommend for the Flybaby .It was so simple when it was just Futaba

They used to be about 5.99! in the light of that the savox 351 would be a good option. Still overkill, but the same price as a 311 and far better on spec. But, the 352 you originally chose is not that much more so it sadly looks like there are pretty small savings to be had these days going with lower spec servos. Been a while since i bought any and i didnt realise the price had crept so much.

That's their new standard servo.

Savox 351 looks identical to a hitec 311 in terms of torque and speed and bearings. The digital amp is neither here nor there on something like this. 352 is twice the price and way bigger and meaner. Nigel R
Apologies, don't know what savox i was looking at. Looking again, the 352 looks pretty comparable to the 425. Only difference seems to be the digital amp which I never consider a deal breaker.
Frank Skilbeck
Re the 325, they quote "ideal for 30 size aircraft" surely they mean 30cc petrol not a 30 glow, or is this just reflective of how we over specify servos.
Nigel R
Probably the second one. I expect hitec would like to sell you a different set of servos when you get a new 30cc size toy...
