Overheard by a friend of mine who was doing some consulting work to help the Military adopt Accruals Accounting instead of Cash Accounting.  As there were 2 consultants watching the SM had his options curtailed!

A Sargent Major was giving a recruit a severe telling off and finished up by saying "See that window up there? Go up there, drop your trousers, stick your backside out the window and give your brains an airing"

 

Some time later the Sargent Major saw the recruit and asked him. "Did you  follow my orders?"
