iflylilplanes
Just finished and flown a scratch built Royal Coachman 3 channel (RET) trainer designed by Don Dewey, built of the original 1965 plans published in RCM magazine. I did change the construction of the wings to save a little money, could not see any reason to fully sheet the wings. Build log here Royal Coachman build log She fly's great, rolls like it's has ailerons (no ailerons)on rudder only, I love it. Brian Cooper
This isn't exactly a new model but it has had some attention to detail and a bit of a touch-up in readiness for the forthcoming season.

Tosh McCaber
Must say Nick, are you sure that you haven't shrunk a normal sized pilot into the cockpit? That little guy looks real!!

Torsten Spitzner
Maidened four weeks ago and flown almost every weekend since, my latest creation which I have named "Sati're". It is a Tiger 60 with a Saturn SE wing and horizontal stabilizer, suitably stretched to fit. Span is at 72 inch excl. the tip tanks, which are removable for transport. Electric retracts to keep things sleek. Flaps for steep landing approaches, although they are really not necessary. Powered by an ST61, I realized half way through the build that it was getting a bit big and heavy for the .61 (takeoff weight is more than 4.6Kg) but I was in too deep not to see the project through. As expected, power is, well, adequate....and it will remain like that since it actually flies really well, no doubt due to a pattern ships wing section. The look I was after was something akin to the Aermacchi MB326 (Known as the Impala in South Africa) and the Marchetti SF260, all with a vertical Stabilizer from a Mooney.

It flies well and looks great on sunny days.

Martin Harris - Moderator
It's a classic design and all the various 190s I've flown have been pussycats. The Black Horse version (only let down by the supplied retracts) is my favourite and I'm lucky enough to have a friend who likes me to fly his - just about perfect with a 120 FS in the nose...

ron evans
Sort of Fizza. Put the wing together a few years ago, then lost interest. Rekindled interest, found the wing, but not the plan so made the rest from memory. Then a clubmate told me the plan was on OZ. Maiden flight today was fine. A bit porky at 23oz but with 250 Watts it's quite nippy, and quite remarkable low speed handling.
