Brian Cooper
I'm posting this with a heavy heart... As much as I love having model aeroplanes and flying them, it takes up too much of my time and I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics such as cleaning and maintaining my home, so something has to give. . I will be re-homing my collection. Please don't ask any questions, as I can't handle talking about it. Below is a list of what will soon be available, but to good homes only. Serious inquiries only please. Thanks for reading and understanding... 1. Dustpan and brush 2. Sponges 3. Dusters 4. Mop and bucket 5. Window cleaner 6. Vaccuum 7. Dishwashing liquid 8. Laundry detergent 9. Fabric softener 10. Laundry baskets 11. Toilet brush 12. Cleaning sprays 13. Scrubbing brushes

Peter Miller
Brian, Don't give up. I have much the same problem however I can occasionally find the broom an sweep some of the debris up. I do usually keep the kitchen clean, well the top of the cooker and the draining board and I do wash up the plates etc after meals. Well, stomach bugs would interfere with modelling! I also have a little chuckle to myself. You see I have four vacuum cleaners. Two are about 30 plus years old. and two are freebies from the Amazon Vine program. When they come to sort out my home they will wonder why I even have one!! I always know when to Hoover the stairs...when the balsa chips reach the bottom step. I seem to remember that someone once said "Cleanliness is akin to Godliness". Oh well, I must be a great big sinner.

Don Fry
Possibly. The article I read had pictures. It would quite distract from propellor discipline.

kevin b
I have lived on my own (mostly, with interesting breaks) for over 37 years. When I bought my first house friends and family kindly bought me lots of "extremely useful" bits and pieces to help with running the new home. I still keep finding them ! Sometimes though you get fed up of being on your own (only rarely though) and I was thinking of putting an advert in the Post Office. What do you think ? Man who doesn't, looking for woman who does. Comfortable accommodation provided. Sense of humour required. Must not be allergic to glow fuel, dope fumes and balsa dust. Needs to have interests to keep busy when weather is dry and calm. No pets, children or scrounging relatives.

Nightflyer
Love it Brian and yes don't give up. I have found that the occassional clean and tidy of my workshop often yields marvellous goodies such as: Nuts and bolts that sometimes are sufficient for engine mounting or control horn fitting. Servo screws including the lesser spotted servo head screw. Modelling pins - I wondered why I was struggling to find sufficient - went and bought some and then found more around the workshop. A few useful offcuts of balsa or ply. The occassional anti-social plan that has re-filed itself away from other plans. I could have spent money (and possibly have in the past) replacing these parts that amazingly have disappeared often when I have needed them most.
