Paul Marsh
Almost finished the SBD Dauntless off. The speed brakes were a pain to set up, used quite a few channels, the flap and dive brakes are set in different modes: Flap only, flap and brakes, brakes only. plus retracts. Chris Walby
Paul, Great looking model, best wishes on the maiden. I would be really interested to hear how the different flaps/speed brakes affect the flight performance as they look quite substantial! Nice one

Philflyer
I really like the old Aerospatiale helicopters so when I saw this scale Lama in Air-Zermatt colours for under £60 including tranny I couldn't resist it. Old tech - brushed motor and fixed pitch but good 3 axis gyros. I deal for scale flying indoors and I have flown it outdoors in a 6 mph wind. A good next step from a co-axial. Colin Carpenter
Nice Phil. You can learn a lot from a Heli like that and the skills transfer well into collective pitch helis if desired ! Colin

Martin McIntosh
Nice model to fly and nearly tempted myself. Used to fly one at the R/C hotel until some idiot attacked a tree with it. I have never seen a model in so many tiny pieces. Watch the covering - it blows off in the airstream.
Jon Laughton
Yes Martin we flew it in the same week!😉 I’ve used clearcote to seal the trim. See you in Corfu for a curry perhaps later in the year?

Levanter
Toot Sweet. Finished this week from a Peter Miller plan. Now I will be able to speed up progress on the Grumpy Tiger Cub. And here is Toot with his little sis Yuppy Love. Yuppy was built a couple of years ago and was quite a bit harder to build being much smaller.
