Andy48
Posted by Peter Miller on 22/11/2016 08:56:06: Now here is a bloke who doesn't mince his words!!! I wonder how the offending buyer likes it. **LINK** I do have some sympathy with him. Whenever I sell large items that are for collection only, someone always asks if it can be posted. I once sold a very large lawn mower (around 150kg in weight) as collection only, and the buyer was furious that I would not put in on a pallet for them and have it delivered. kevin b
Here's some New Year Stats for you. I have just perused e-bay in the Rc department. I searched for "Kit". 19290 items 192 auction only 125 of those in the UK That wasn't just aeroplanes either and most of those have start prices over 70% of retail ! Glad I did my buying and stocked up several years ago.

Robin Colbourne
No problem with the seller on this one, but what is it? I have a Waterhouse & Ely Super Fly and I know its not that. There are mumurings in the grey matter of 'Trener' by Bowman's of Ispwich or Galaxy Models, but I can't find anything about it. Has anybody any ideas? **LINK**
Peter Miller
I thought that it might be an MFA Skyhawk but checked my old review and it is NOT that
Geoff S
Another puzzle. An old unnamed 27Mhz? transmitter, receiver and servos. Not really my scene but I know some of you like this sort of stuff (like me and old valve broadcast receivers). I suspect it may be a very nicely made home-build. Geoff S
So it does, John. I didn't get down quite that far Geoff
gangster
Yes I would agree with Waltron They also sold these in kit form in a black case if I remember correctly which looked a bit more professional. Repaired some of both in my time. Kit might have been called something like cosmos
john stones 1 - Moderator
Means nowt to me Geoff (only a nipper), but some lads are keen on the vintage stuff. John
gangster
Bidding is going well. From what I remember it always seemed flimsy stuff compared to other makes Sticks and servos were probably fine but just did not have a confidence inspiring feel. I replaced a servo IC in one once the owner reckoned that it died because he plugged the servo in with the power on. I have never known that to cause problems before or after that occaission. I am sure that TX should have a label on it
Erfolg
Oh my God, I have a Waltron 4-5 Sportsman and 2 * Clubman Rxs. In my case i have thought of throwing them out as junk. OMG £32, it is ridiculous.

Geoff S
What's happened on eBay? I can find hardly any RC aeroplanes or parts. They seem to have changed it so much it's now useless. That is, unless no-one is selling anything. Geoff Edited By Geoff Sleath on 18/02/2017 23:41:
KiwiKid
Yep, there has been an "upgrade", but it's all still there: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/RC-Aeroplane-Models-Kits/182182/bn_10313365/i.html If you want see a standard listing, just scroll down and click on the "View All Results" tab. Would like to see a demo vid of this one before buying Edited By KiwiKid on 19/02/2017 00:48:
Geoff S
Thanks KiwiKid I did eventually find the general aeroplane listing but by a devious route. I also noticed that there were very few bids which implies that I'm not alone in struggling to find the lists. I just don't understand why there's a special link to 'control line and free flight' but not to RC aeroplanes - crazy! (not that I have anything against either free flight or control line). That page you illustrate is typical. It acts to prevent a general browse and forces potential buyers to be very specific. I don't mind which fuel type. As my wife recently described Windows 10 - "It's Bossy!" Geoff PS The 'aeroplanes' option under RC Model Vehicles and Kits' wasn't there last night (unless I missed it every time I looked) or I probably wouldn't have posted. cymaz
I hate the new ebay listings ....I went the same way as Kiwikid. Looked under RC Model vehicle and kits, then typed in aeroplane. once the search came up I made a short cut onto the desk top.
Peter Miller
This person has been relisting this lot for months. He hasn't got a snowballs chance unless he can find and even bigger idiot. **LINK**
John Lee
£250 for a Keil Kraft Invader????? Ah!, it's been valued at £300 so it must be alright then. Maybe knock off the last '0' & it will be nearer the mark.
