David Davis
Mild temperatures and light winds yesterday in central France. Eight of us had our first flights of 2023. I flew the Big Guff and the Sky Rider. Edited January 4, 2023 by David Davis

Paul De Tourtoulon
Mon Dieu ! We have concrete tables like you but ours are old table tennis tables picked up free from camping sites, they are bigger and they won't steal them,,,
Ace
Billy no mates yesterday here in the Vale of York. 5 10min flights with my recovered Super Air/SC70 4* with coffees in-between. To be fair it was breezy 😉 (see sock) but that's great for practicing crosswind landing.

john davidson 1
Blue sky and no wind today (Monday ) my son me and Bob who maidened his Hurricane built from a Vintage Model company free flight rubber kit with Volantex electronics transplanted from a Super Cub. Due to the servo layout he could not get two ailerons acting the proper way so ended up with only one aileron. Amazingly it flew straight from his hand no trim required. Hope the attached photo appears Edited January 16, 2023 by john davidson 1 addition

GrumpyGnome
Snow, hail, sleet, wind 😞. Tomorrow looks promising, although the forecast is between -2 and -4 degrees. Still, indoor flying tomorrow afternoon is guaranteed........ Those VMC hurries look good and seem to fly well.

GrumpyGnome
Indoors was quiet - just the four of us. My fun was curtailed by a failed solder joint between esc & motor connectors after just three flights 🙁. Think I'll remove the connectors and solder the wires permanently and save a few grams - that'll offset the glue that's been added!
EarlyBird
Three flights in the bright cold winter air. The Ohmen has become my winter model as it handles the wind well. Steve
leccyflyer
Excellent morning at the club field - cold, but calm, bright, sunny, blue skies, perfect flying conditions. Just half a dozen of us but really nice to get some fresh air over our wings. Highlight for me was seeing Bob's wee Vintage Model Company rubber powered Hurricane kit in action - converted to electric flight radio control, using the innards of a Volantex Cub, so beautifully stabilised. Got some good flying in with the other Volantex wee warbirds too - Spitfire, Bf109E, P-51 Mustang and John's F-16. Bigger EFlite Spitfire XIV and Parkzone Spitfire IX put in an appearance along with Arrows Red Arrows Hawk and other bits and bobs.
