Andy Stephenson
My latest, a Dupli Star a copy of Hanno's Supra Star that was never released in the .60 size. This one was scaled down to 63" span. Has all home cut foam wings, tailplane as well as foam front and rear decks. Glassed and painted.

Murat Kece 1
That is excellent Andy. Do you the the borders with tape or marker (on the red)?
Andy Stephenson
Many thanks guys. Murat, the scheme is all done by paint and masking. We don't know who drew the plans for this copy of Hanno's competition size Supra Star but it seems to be scaled up from what was available such as the .40 size kit version. I'm hoping to enter it into one of the UKCAA's low-key aerobatic competitions this year. dupli-star_68in-1.pdf

Detail and pilot to follow now he knows it's a good 'un.

martin collins 1
Cambrian Models Midget Mustang electric conversion maiden flight today, no problems and a lovely flyer. Very fast on 6s, may be tempted to buy a kit from Cambrian and build it myself, found this one dangling from the rafters in an Antique shop, it had a 4 stroke glow in it when i bought it, no more oily airframe now...........
Neil James
Latest Phase 6 maidened on Sunday. Wind was marginal but lots of thermals coming through to gain height for a few basic manoeuvres. Looking forward to flying it in some proper lift.

Works on a reasonable range of directions around east. The landing area is very small though and if you miss it you’re in the bog!

Kevin Fairgrieve
Not a new model, but a revamp of an old model. HK Bonsai with a 50mm EDF. Thrust tube rescaled and 3d printed. Maiden this morning and after a few trim issues flies really well.
Eric Robson
Not new, built last year but due to lockdown had it's maiden flight today flew very well. 11
Chris Walby
Very nice one there Eric, perhaps avoid a overcast or dull day with that camouflage it will be very effective. Flair DR1 with Laser 150 maiden today. Best described as a mature model with at least 2 previous owners. Flies very well and needs me to catch up with the ground handling traits to get the best out of it.
Eric Robson
Hi Chris I am pleased for you that have had a successful maiden with the DR 1 after the disappointment with the Focke Wulf. Actually the desert camo is better on a dull day, of which we get many. My 109's have the grey/ grey upper surfaces and don't show up too good against the grey sky. The Ju 88 however stood out against todays dull sky.

Peter Garsden
What is that in the background Robin - looks like a miniature train track in the garden!?
Robin Mosedale 1
It is, Peter, a miniature live steam railway. Over the years I've come down from large road going traction engine, through ride on Locomotives, settling on Gauge 1. I make my own, and have provided livery services worldwide; museum quality
