Graff
New"ish" model.... My refurbished Sopwith pup. Just a few more things to do (like glueing on the landing strut covering...), but mostly finished. Powered by a Saito fg33-r3 radial engine.
chris collis
Hi Steve,Thank you for your kind remarks. I do have a plan for the Bronco but unfortunately when I built it I didn’t add any wood sizes or thickness,as I never thought anyone else would want to build one! I wouldn’t have thought that my plan would be anywhere near the standard that rcm&e would require. It would take me quite a while to put all the added detail on so that anyone could build it or could just wing it with the drawing as is.
Roy Thompson
The latest addition to the fleet for this year’s club comps, my take on a Hurricane. All from 6mm depron, 3 9g servos and budget motor and esc.

I was planning on giving it a go out of Correx/Corro-Plas which a mate gets me for free,so I could guesstimate and would produce a tough model anyway 😜😂😎👌👍

Jake Bullit
Dipping my toe into the helicopter world with a little XK110s. Came with a radio, but my double AA tx batteries hadn't arrived, so I got it up and flying with my TX16s.

leccyflyer
Looks like a Priory Silhouette with added spats and a very striking retro colour scheme - very nice indeed.
martin collins 1
Yes deffo a Priory Silhouette, my go to electric flyer is a Silhouette. Nice fliers, got an unbuilt one in my stash as well .
leccyflyer
Loved my Silhouette, until I strained ot through a fence. Lovely flyer with an Irvine 46 but even better with a Twister 60 and 16x SubC 3300mah NiMhs - would be even better still with lipos 😎

At least if he loses the wing tubes as we all do, a quick trip to the building site should yield a few scaffolding poles which would do the job.. Impressive Unfortunately the scaffolding poles wouldn't fit - the wing joiners are rectangular in section Carbon Fibre.

Several years ago I was allowed round the restoration hangar at Duxford. I was talking to the restorers and they told me about the Hurricane in the hangar. Apparently the aircraft was seriously tail heavy in flight. When they did the major overhaul they found that the tailplane spar which should have been made of thin sheet tube with a section rather like the old three penny pieces was in fact made out of a length of (You are way a head of me!!) Scaffold tube.

Peter Miller
God knows who did it or when. Back in my day they would have been called a "Pig Farmer" or "Black pudding bender" but of course it would never have happened in any proper workshop.
